Joe began his career at Acorn Financial Services in 1994 as a financial representative building his clientele and achieving top producer status at the firm, John Hancock Financial Network, and in the industry. In 2003, Joe was named Associate Managing Partner, honing his management skills and continuing the growth momentum of Acorn Financial Services. In 2005, he was named Managing Partner. Under Joe's leadership, the firm has also received the GAMA First in Class Award every year since 2006.

Joe attended St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia, PA and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF designation) and is a member of many industry organizations such as AALU, LAMP, NALU and the New York Round Table. He was inducted into JHFN’s Hall of Fame in 2012.​
